World Golfers Championship Singapore is an exciting new concept in amateur golf in this country: a national tournament that gives amateur golfers - both male and female - the opportunity to represent their country at the game they love! 
This event is unique in that it is played in five handicaps flights - 0-5, 6-10, 11-15, 16-20, and 21-25 - and the winner of each will make up the five-person Singaporean team to compete the world finals.
Playing over a series of club and national finals, against players of your own handicap level, you could be one of Singapore's five leading amateur golfer who will emerge to play against the rest of the world in the 2009 World final. 
The World Golfers Championship has been played overseas for the past 13 years, under the patronage of golfing legend Arnold Palmer and Seve Ballesteros.

Dear WGC Singapore 2009 confirmed and interested golfers,
Owing to a short period of time, the WGC Singapore 2009 "Swing for Education" to raise funds for Central Singapore CDC 'Temporary Relief Scheme' will only be held on ONE day, the morning and afternoon of Friday 2nd October 2009 at Keppel Club!
The Singapore Finals will once again be graced by HRH Princess Brigitta of Sweden and WGC Founder, Sweden Sports Legend Mr Sven Tumba.
$50 from each player's entry fee will goes towards the 'Temporary Relief Scheme'.
Entry Fee is only: Keppel Cub Members $195 / Keppel Club Non-Members $290
All players will be invited to the Gala and Prize Presentation Gala Dinner at the Keppel Club Ballroom.
All Players only need to play only ONE round and if you win your handicap division at this event, you will automatically qualify to represent Team Red Dot Singapore at the World Golfers Championship 2009 world finals in Spain! www.worldgolfers.com
